28in. replacement nitro barrels (in 1964, barrel numbers 19240 / 1), ribs engraved 'WESTLEY RICHARDS & CO., LONDON.' and gold-inlaid '1' and '2' at the breech ends, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke, scroll-back treble-grip actions incorporating J. Deeley and L.B. Taylor patent hand-detachable locks, patent no. 17731 of 28th July 1897 with improved 'lighter pull-off' modification, patent no. 10567 of 7th May 1907, use numbers 2316 and 2302, toplevers engraved 'WESTLEY RICHARDS EJECTOR' and gold-inlaid '1' and '2', manual safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, detachable locks with engine turned finish, hinged floorplates, profusely engraved with bold acanthus scrollwork, the triggerguards with game scenes of a pointer (No.1) and a covey of partridge (No.2), retaining virtually full renewed colour-hardening and finish, 14 5/8in. well-figured stocks with blued and engraved steel heel and toe plates, fore-ends with Deeley and Edge patent release catches gold-inlaid '1' and '2' and with horn finials, weight 6lb. 8oz., in a brass-cornered oak and leather case
